Creating a Well Being Library Project
We are proud to share the successful completion of our library initiative aimed at strengthening mental health support for elementary students and their families. Through this project, the library has added more than 80 new titles focused on important topics such as anxiety, stress, depression, resilience, and self-care.
This project represents a meaningful step toward creating a more inclusive, supportive, and responsive learning environment for our school community.
This project was made possible through the generous support of the Halton Learning Foundation, a charitable organization that works to remove financial barriers to learning for students in the Halton District School Board. HLF receives funding through donations from individuals, community groups, local businesses, and corporate sponsors who are committed to helping all students reach their full potential. These contributions directly support programs and resources that enhance student well-being, equity, and educational success across Halton schools.
